On land, the well-known viewing areas fill up early and traffic around the waterfront can be slow. On a fireworks yacht in Abu Dhabi your group has its own private deck, a sound system for your music, soft drinks and water, and a captain and crew who handle the cruise.

On 2 December the National Day fireworks in Abu Dhabi are fired from the sea at around 9 PM, and the Corniche roads are packed that evening. So the plan on 2 December is different: be at the marina by 6 PM and relax on board, the yacht sails at 8 PM, you watch the fireworks from the water and we are back at the marina at 10 PM. How Your Captain Plans the Route
Your route is planned with the captain on the evening. The captain follows the official announcements, the weather and sea state, and any marine restrictions set by the authorities for the celebrations. Some areas may have controlled access for boats during the displays, and the captain will keep the yacht in a safe, permitted position. Tell the crew at boarding if fireworks are a priority for your group, and they will plan the evening with that in mind.

On 2 December, fireworks night, the evening runs like this:
- By 6 PM: arrive at the marina (the Corniche roads are packed that evening), board, relax on board and get a short safety briefing from the crew.
- 8 PM: the yacht sails, with the city lights, music and photos on deck.
- Around 9 PM: the National Day fireworks are fired from the sea and you watch them from the water.
- 10 PM: back at the marina.

Tips for picking the right size
For fireworks, deck space matters. If your group is close to a yacht’s maximum capacity, consider moving up one size so everyone has a clear view. Large groups often choose the House Boat Luxury M1 or M2 (up to 35 guests), while couples and small families enjoy the Panda 1 Luxury Yacht (up to 8 guests).
